XTC and Long Range Matches – 11/26

We are set for both shoots, and registration is open on Practiscore!  Note that registration will close on 11/24 at 2100.  Range setup will begin at 0700, and hopefully, with XTC going hot at 0800 and Mid-Range at 1100.

Registration is not required if you will NOT be shooting.  If you are new and not familiar with the location of the range, signage can be a problem.  Note that there is no food or drink available at the range, so you must bring your own.  There are benches, but a portable chair is often a good idea.  Please don’t hesitate to call me for any questions or help you may need.

Directions (access from the Basilone Gate remains closed)

  • If coming from the North, exit I-5 at Cristianitos Rd and turn left.  Enter the gate, bear right at the fork on San Mateo Rd, turn left on Basilone Rd, and continue to the ranges.
  • If coming from the South, exit I-5 at Las Pulgas Rd and turn right.  Enter the gate, turn left on Basilone Rd, and continue to the ranges.

Upcoming PRS Match – 05/07

There will be a PRS Precision Rifle/Carbine Match at R214, on Saturday 05/07, with 7 or 8 stages, and 80+ rounds recommended.  At this time, we will not be able to go hot until 10 AM.  Registration is open on Practiscore.

Action Rifle/Pistol Match Director Needed

I have moved to the Carson City area so we are looking for my replacement.

We need a volunteer to serve as Match Director for the action matches. This involves organizing the schedule, posting the match to PractiScore, completing Training Area Requests, organizing medics for the matches, and coordinating a Course of Fire with Juan Castillo/Mark Liu/ Wayne Gallagher for PRS matches or Wayne Gallagher/Will Robinson for Action Carbine and Pistol matches.

You can reach out to me or John Hermsen if you have interest in serving in this post. We must fill this opening if the club is going to continue to regularly offer these matches.
